This stand mixer has a high actuation point, making it suitable for kneading heavy dough, despite the low power.
The mixing bowl is height-adjustable, giving you more control over the preparation.
Accessories for more elaborate preparations are not included.

Description

Do you want a kitchen machine that can handle all sorts of preparations? With the KitchenAid Heavy Duty K5 mixer, you can handle both light and heavy preparations. You can use it to easily prepare a light batter like cream or eggwhites, while you can use it to make dough for homemade bread or pies as well. You can do so in the 4.83-liter mixing bowl. The arm in which you place the mixing bowl is height-adjustable, so you can set the height yourself and determine the mixing intensity that way. You can also cover the mixing bowl with the anti-splash lid. Are you up to heavier mixing? The KitchenAid Artisan's completely metal casing ensures that it can perform just as well. Besides the standard mixing attachments, the Artisan mixer is expandable with a lot of attachments. This way, you can expand it with a pasta maker, an ice cream maker, or grain mill.

After 20 years this is my 2nd heavy duty kitchenaid. Says something about the quality, especially if the same one is still for sale. Hopefully this one will last that long.

Nice device, highly recommended, but sometimes does not take the entire bottom with it, so stir it yourself and then it works! We are happy with it!!
