HDMI cables
The difference between the types of HDMI cables
The difference between an HDMI 2.0b and an HDMI 2.1 cable is the supported resolution and refresh rate. HDMI 2.0b supports 4K resolution with a 50Hz refresh rate, so images aren't always displayed as fluently. An HDMI 2.1 cable supports 8K resolution at 50Hz, so you can watch sharper images. A 2.1 cable also supports eARC, which allows you to transmit audio signals from sources like Dolby Atmos without loss of quality.
Which cable length do you need?
It's important to keep the length of the HDMI cable in mind. You don't want a cable that's too short when you start connecting. With long cables, you'll have signal loss sooner than with short cables.
