The Samsung OLED S95D has a stylish slim screen with sharp images. Thanks to the OLED Glare Free layer, I still enjoy good image quality in my sun-drenched room without reflections on the screen. Vivid and colorful images I turn on a nature documentary to test the brightness and colors properly. I notice that the S95D shows the most colorful and bright images of all Samsung OLED televisions. The advantage of this OLED television is the Quantum Dots technology. All quantum dots each create their own color, giving the screen a larger color range. Thanks to the high brightness, I can easily distinguish the different shades of green from nature. No reflections on the screen I think that the Samsung S95D has the best viewing angle quality of all Samsung televisions. Thanks to the OLED technology and the high brightness, the image can be seen well from every angle in the room. Thanks to the OLED Glare Free layer, light sources and reflections are not visible on the screen. I placed a bright lamp opposite the screen and indeed saw no reflections on the screen. Impressive sound quality Thanks to the built-in soundbar and subwoofer, I enjoy a powerful and full sound. Thanks to the Object Tracking Sound+ sound technology, the sound moves with the movements on the screen. For example, you can follow the sound of cars speeding past during an exciting action film. Thanks to Dolby Atmos technology, the sound bounces off the ceiling to my viewing position. This means I can also hear sounds above me, such as an airplane flying over.

I was able to test this TV for a few weeks. The Samsung TV is truly a picture to look at, both with the display on or off. Due to its very low thickness, the TV can be mounted almost flat against the wall. Thanks to the One-Connect box, you never have to be behind the screen to connect cables. The viewing angles of the screen are also very good, I could not discover any distortion of the colours. Despite all these reasons why the screen is perfect for hanging on the wall, Samsung still supplies a stand with it, so the TV can certainly also be used freestanding. The image quality of the screen is very good, colours are bright and black is simply black as it should be with an OLED screen. However, where you have to watch out for reflections from windows or lamps in the house with most OLED TVs, Samsung has opted for a matte panel for this TV. This means that the TV can still be viewed well even in full sunlight. I can definitely recommend the screen!

We were able to test this TV for a few weeks. When unboxing, we immediately noticed the beautiful matte screen and also the handy OneConnectBox. After we quickly and easily assembled the TV, we were able to connect all our devices to the OneConnectBox and only one cable goes to the screen itself! Ideal for hanging! The supplied remote control also worked great for us, all the equipment could be operated with it so that only 1 remote control remained on the table. Also positive is the beautiful matte screen, which ensures that there is less glare in the image from whichever angle you look. Then the disadvantages: We found that it was very difficult to set the colors to our liking, which meant that Team NL played in red and all the blue looked the same. The sound also sometimes dropped out when changing streaming services or TV providers, which meant that the TV had to be turned off and on again to reset it. All in all it is a good TV with quite a few positive points, unfortunately due to the negative points we cannot say with certainty that we would make the switch from our old trusted TV brand.
