Our expert review

The JBL Quantum 910 is the most complete JBL headset.

  • Nice spatial sound
  • Very comfortable
  • Cool extras
  • Heavier than the average headset.

The JBL Quantum 910 Wireless is a very nice gaming headset. The sound from the headset is beautiful and very spacious. There are cool features on it, such as head tracking and noise canceling. The headset is also made of sturdy materials. This makes the headset on the heavy side. Very comfortable When I take the JBL Quantum 910 Wireless out of the box, I immediately notice a difference with the Quantum 810. The Quantum 910 is made of sturdy materials and soft ear cushions. I find this headset to be the most comfortable of all JBL headsets. However, the Quantum 910 is very heavy, which is less pleasant during a long gaming session. Still, I was able to play for hours thanks to the nice ear cushions and the comfortable headband. Nice spatial sound I tested the surround sound of the JBL Quantum 910 with 3 games, namely Fortnite, The Last of Us Part 1 and Tiny Tina Wonderlands. The direction of the sound is very important with these games and that is perfectly fine with this headset. I hear exactly where enemies are walking and I can respond well to that during a game of Fortnite or during a mission in Tiny Tina Wonderlands. In addition to the surround sound, this headset also has head tracking. Available on PC and consoles, this allows the sound to rotate with your head. I notice this especially with The Last of Us Part 1. A rain shower always sounds realistic, even when I turn my head. I do wonder how valuable the head tracking technology is, since I usually look towards my screen. This headset also has noise cancellation in both the microphone and the headset itself and also didn't hear any outside noises at all. My friends also hear me extra well because of the noise reduction on the microphone. The JBL Quantum 910 is a very nice headset, the sound from the headset is very nice and the headset is also very comfortable. The headset is quite heavy, but I played games for hours on end. Head tracking is great, but feels a bit like an extra that isn't necessarily needed. The noise reduction, on the other hand, is a really nice plus.

JBL worthy

  • It is the real JBL sound, very satisfied with it
  • Game sound and Chat sound can be set separately
  • Beautiful design
  • Is on the heavy side

Nicely designed headset fits well, is a bit on the heavy side but sits comfortably on your head It is a pity that they indicate 35 hours of battery life, but if you adjust some settings, you will lose 10 hours, let alone turn on the LED lighting, then you might have 10 hours left. It would have been great if the microphone had been neatly concealed in the design or if you could remove it. A very good product.

Not for audiophiles

  • Nice price for a wireless headset
  • Easy to use
  • Head tracking & spatial sound.
  • Big and clumsy

After much hesitation between the Steelseries Arctis Nova PRO & the JBL Quantum 910, I chose the JBL. After 3 months of use, I have come to the conclusion that this is not the right headset for someone who likes good sound. Spatial sound & head tracking function is nice but not everything. In terms of design, the headset is very large, heavy & clumsy. Bluetooth does not always work well and often interferes, while I am sitting next to my PC. The sound is also not very impressive. Just picked up a Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro wireless and this one is much better in terms of sound / software / comfort.
