- You don't need a bridge because the lights work with Bluetooth.
- You can only control the lights with your smartphone within a radius of 10 meters if you don't have a bridge.
- Without a bridge, you can control a maximum of 10 light per house, but if you add a bridge, you can control up to 50 lights.
Description
With the Philips Hue White Ambiance E14 Bluetooth Duo Pack, you provide your home with smart lighting. The pack includes 2 candle lights, which you connect directly to your phone via Bluetooth. After, you can set the lights to 3 different shades of white. This way, you can easily switch up the atmosphere in your house. Combine the lights with a voice assistant, so you can operate them with your voice as well. That means you don't have to leave the comfort of your chair to dim or turn off the lights. Do you also want to switch the lights on and off when you're not home or do you want to set timers? You can add a Philips Hue Bridge later on. With this bridge, you connect your smart lights to the internet.

Works fine, extensive options, but pricey.
- It was a piece of cake to replace the old lamp with the new one.
- Significantly more light than the old Philips HUe lamp.
- Until now, the Philips HUe lamps last a long time (± 8 years).
- The app or bridge seems to become slower with every update, with which the entire HUe system deteriorates in ease of use.

Bought this 1100 lumen version for more light output. The difference with the 800 lumens cannot be seen or measured. This version is much more expensive, so it's a bad buy.
