The great advantage of the JBL Tuner 2 and Tuner XL is that you can always enjoy music as long as you have radio reception. Both radios have both FM and DAB radio. You can set 5 preferred channels for FM and DAB, so you can always quickly select your favorite radio station.

Flip 6

JBL Flip 6: no radio

Of course, you can always stream a radio station from your smartphone to the Flip 6, but the speaker doesn't have a built-in radio. So you can't listen to your favorite radio station without internet service.

JBL Tuner 2, Tuner XL, and Flip 6: Bluetooth

Both the JBL Tuner 2, Tuner XL, and the Flip 6 have Bluetooth. You connect your phone wirelessly to the radio or speaker via Bluetooth, so you can stream you favorite songs. You can choose between your own music library, various streaming services, and radio stations.

Just like the Tuner 2, you can connect the Tuner XL to the socket when you use the radio at home or at the office. This saves battery. The charging time of the Tuner XL is 4 hours.

JBL Flip 6: 12-hour battery life

Just like the Flip 6, the JBL Tuner 2 has a 12-hour battery life. With this, you can listen to your favorite songs all day. The battery of the speaker is fully charged after 2.5 hours, so you can take it with you again.
