Magimix Block and stick kit

Ordered this disc at the same time as my magimix 5200 mainly because, for example through spaghetti sauce, I want bell pepper/carrot cubes instead of grater and if I want cucumber 'snack size' pieces. It can be used for three things; -long stalks (cucumber, fries, etc) grid without cutting disc; -cubes of 1cmx1cm (carrot, pepper, etc) grid with cutting disc -slices of 1cm wide with only the cutting disc (so without grid).

For the long stems where you only use the grid, it is important that you can push well. My counter is quite high, so I struggled a bit to get enough force to push it through. There is also often something stuck on the grid, but with extra hard pushing you will get through. It's easier if you don't put the 'peel' side down and push the whole piece through it lengthwise. This also applies to the cubes (with cutting disc), only then a piece is chopped off every cm, this goes very neatly and beautiful cubes come out! (tested with parsnip, carrot and turnip casserole).

As far as I'm concerned, the device is definitely recommended, even if you have to apply quite a bit of force, especially because cutting cubes is always difficult (difficult to hold, often shifts) and beautiful cubes come out!
